self love.

Self Love

Here is your PSA to stop trying to be someone you're not. Also, to stop going back or staying in situations that make you feel safe because their familiar. If you're in your 20s or younger, we all know you have to discover that yourself. With that said here is my personal intake:

I am not your typical Health Coach.

I don’t live a glamorous life in California or somewhere a bit more aesthetically pleasing . I live in the Midwest. I’ve had all the life experiences that left many physical and emotional scars. From relationship trauma, death of a loved one, sobriety, major health issues and diagnosis. These have made me stronger mentally and physically so in a sense I am completely okay with them happening.

A huge component I have struggled with my whole life is accepting fully who I am, we will dive into how those situations along with health issues and visible skin problems can cause a lot of mental health issues for someone in another blog.

I’ve learned that leaving my skin unedited is totally okay, but also if editing your blemishes makes you feel good then so be it. Just know that either way your beautiful and those blemishes, scars, wrinkles do not define you as a person.

Its also okay to leave your hair natural or untouched.

Its okay to dress how you feel most comfortable

Its okay to have rough unmanicured hands.

Be Feminine and masculine both yin & yang because there’s no certain way to be a woman!

Point being I finally understand who I am and why I love her. I admire my growth, my strength, my creativity and I welcome it all. As we step into our 30s I think a whole shift happens in life and depending on your path that led you up until this moment you embrace it all.

We then become in alignment with ourselves. This is who we are and it beautiful to accept and honor that.

I am no longer trying to fit myself in a box, this is me and I am doing all the passions that connect me as one.

My view on life now is to look back and smile because I did everything that I was passionate about. Everything that personally brought me joy in this life.

That starts with loving your truest self.

why use herbal Hormone teas?

WHY DO I CHOOSE TO CREATE & USE HERBAL TEAS? Herbal remedies have been used for a long time. Herbal medicine is the establishment of modern medicine this is where conventional medicine started. I love using nature in its most potent natural form. In a few short descriptions it is has fewer side effects, strengthens the immune system actually healing the root of the symptoms over time. Plus, its beautiful to learn about each plant that was created for a purpose, it’s quite sad that society doesn’t teach about nature. This is why I create personalized herbal protocols for clients and tea blends, each herb has a purpose and blends with other herbs to create a higher potency & impact on the body. For example, one of my hormone teas: Red Raspberry leaf, red clover, nettle, schisandra berry & spearmint. I created this tea to help balance PCOS symptoms naturally as well as hormone levels and hormonal acne.

Lets break down each herb component: Red Raspberry Leaf- Reduce cramps, reduce heavy painful periods, balance mood swings, full of vitamin b6 which binds to estrogen, progesterone and Testosterone, helping to regulate these hormones and by doing that also helps hormonal acne.

Red Clover: Is rich in isoflavones. These compounds that act as phytoestrogens-plant chemicals similar to female hormone estrogen. Red clover has fantastic anti inflammatory compounds that acne reduce acne and support lymphatic system with normal and healthy elimination. This herb has been used in traditional medicine to promote skin & hair health.

Nettle: This herb supports our bodies! It is jammed packed with rich minerals like natures multi vitamin like vitamins A,C, K fatty acids, iron, calcium, manganese and high in chlorophyll. Great source of Iron for thyroid & whole body function, balances blood sugar, supports liver function and fights inflammation.

Schisandra berry: Balances are hormones by improving our ability to deal with stresses both physical and emotional! This one is a daily must for me! Its high level of antioxidants helps to fight free radical damage and lower inflammatory response. This herb helps the liver and adrenals by supporting them and is also used to revive energy, fatigue & stress.

Spearmint: As someone who suffered with hormonal acne my whole life this was a lifesaver after discovering it! I try to incorporate it daily in my teas or Matchas! Spearmint has anti androgen properties! Androgens are male hormones like Testosterone (which my issue with cystic Ance was having to much testosterone.) Spearmint helped to balance this imbalance.

Hope this helps gives you insight in to why I combined this blend in my hormone tea! For more 1:1 hormone support please reach out for a consultation.

LET'S chat mind Body Soul approach.

I say this all the time, so what does it mean? First off it means that a diagnosis does not define you. Now that that’s cleared up let’s dive in. You cannot find healing by just looking at one factor, you must work on all three endlessly. This is how Holistic medicine is different from traditional medicine, we look at all aspects to get to the root cause of a symptom. Let’s dive into the mind: your mental health is everything. Let’s not hide your depression, anxiety and trauma with a band aid approach instead let’s dive deep into when this started and what we can uncover. I want you to understand this is not an overnight fix, there is no stopping with healing its linear but if I can give you the tools to rewire your thoughts daily and to truly understand your emotions that will make a huge impact on your health. Our bodies and minds are connected, emotions can cause symptoms as well as having symptoms can cause mental health issues. Let’s dive now into the soul! This topic is hard for most to understand so let me rewind, most of society is not into spirituality. It’s hard to be spiritually enlightened when all you see is negativity, fueling your body with chemicals, fueling your mind with propaganda. I first really understood this feeling when I did juice cleanses, fast, raw vegan and started eating foods that were Alive, that’s honestly the best feeling. It’s when you start to really see the world for how it is when everyone else around you is asleep, but when you crowd out all the processed crap and the voices of everyone else you start to really tune in to nature and the truth. You start to find purpose in your journey even when its painful, and you start to feel empowered. Put more living foods, living thoughts into your body and crowd out the rest. Now let’s talk Body! We’re healing the mind together, the spiritual aspect and of course the body! In this aspect we look at movement, rest and recovery. Movement looks different to everyone but it’s important to get your lymph system moving so we can work on crowding out the toxins and removing waste. This is how we focus deeply on every level and with this approach you can continue to heal daily! You will learn the tools you need for every aspect of your life so that when situations arise you’ll know how to come back to this approach and find balance on all levels of your life.

lets talk Carbs

It all begins with an idea.

There is a confusion on carbs that causes chaos like hormone imbalance.

Whole Foods Give You Energy! All whole plant foods = lots good carbohydrates!

Carbohydrates are essential to our human bodies, because carbohydrates provide the glucose your cells use to make energy! Carbohydrates in humans is like gas in a tank of a car, it is fuel. However the quality of fuel matters. There are simple carbohydrates and complex carbohydrates. Simple carbs include white sugar, white flour, fructose, packaged foods : these go straight to your blood stream. They are quick carbs .

Complex Carbs are the slow carbohydrates : UNPROCESSED foods, Fruits, Vegetables, nuts, whole grains & seeds are all rich complex carbs. These break down slowly, allowing your body to use them more efficiently. Complex Carbs maintain natural fiber & fuel your body with what it needs. Your body & Brain love these carbs!

I help many clients go into depth with understanding macro nutrients : Carbs, Fats & Protein. From hormonal issues, brain fog, & fitness goals you will learn how to love carbs again because they are truly amazing for us and part of living a balanced healthy lifestyle!

Lets Talk Protein

It all begins with an idea.

Protein is one of the three macronutrients the human body needs. Its extremely Important as most of us know for lifting. What does protein do? protein builds major parts of the body. Your muscles, cells, the enzymes that break down your food & your neurons !

Carbohydrates provide the gasoline = energy. Protein builds the car.

Proteins are made from amino acids there are twenty, they combine with one another to create different proteins. 11 amino acids are made by the body but nine are not these nine are called essential amino acids we get these from our food.

There are high quality proteins I personally consume : Organic antibiotic free meats, Vegetables and beans. I was once vegan so I also mainly use vegetables as my main focus this is why I teach a whole foods low inflammation approach.

( eggs & dairy can cause inflammation in some people me personally. )

I will work with you on getting in the right amount of protein intake from the right sources! Not all protein is the same.

Lets talk Healthy fats.

It all begins with an idea.

Along with Carbohydrates and Protein, fat is one of the three macronutrients and just like protein it breaks down into amino acids called fatty acids. The human body is incredible and makes these acids itself but there are two we can only get from food: omega 3s & Omega-6. Omega 3s are critical to hormone, brain and heart health. Found in oil from fish, algae , flax, chia, hemp and small amounts in leafy greens, cabbage, beans, winter squash.

omega-6 - you do not want a lot of the wrong kinds which are vegetable oils , soy and processed foods but their also found in nuts, avocados and my absolute favorite is sea buckthorn! People do not really understand Omega-6 or the importance of consuming the right kinds and I can teach you all about consuming right types of omegas & the great benefits!

From Plant based to a balanced lifestyle you can surely reach your omegas without consuming fish oils!

Blog Post Title Four

It all begins with an idea.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
